New Delhi, July 5 (IANS) The Jamia Millia Islamia University Monday began trial of aspiring candidates who have opted for admissions in various courses under the sports category.
The trial for boxing was conducted while that of cricket was postponed to July 12 due to heavy rains.
'Trials for athletics will be held July 6, for volleyball, shooting and football July 7, basketball, table tennis and hockey July 8, badminton, tennis and swimming July 9 and weightlifting and other games July 10,' university spokesperson Simi Malhotra said.
The final list of selected candidates will be declared July 21.
