New Delhi, July 27 -- Manipur dominated the proceedings in the finals of the 6th National Youth Women's Boxing Championship in Guwahati on Sunday. The Manipur team comfortably annexed the Champions trophy finishing with 3 gold medals and 28 points. Hosts Assam finished runners up with 2 gold medals and 25 points followed by Punjab with a gold medal and 19 points. Manipur's Sarjubala Devi (48 kilogram category) was declared the best boxer of the event. Devi bagged gold in her category by beating Rebecca of Mizoram 9-2 in the final. Anita Kahar of Assam won the best loser award. Kahar was beaten 8-5 by Sonia of Haryana in the 51 kilogram category in the finals.
