London, Aug 10 (ANI): England coach Fabio Capello is expecting boos and taunts from fans as Three Lions face Hungary on Wednesday.
"I expect boos, sure. It won't be an easy game, especially in the first half. I deserve to be booed. Why not? We win together, we lose together. I respect the crowd and I'm the boss and they have to boo me like the players.
"We have to accept we missed out in the World Cup. I have to respect the crowd. But you have to be stronger than this. I hope it will pass after a short time because the crowd have to help us and we must focus," The Sun quoted Capello, as saying.
Some fans are planning to head for the half-time break at least five minutes early to leave Capello and his players in no doubt about the depth of their feelings following England's World Cup debacle.
Capello spoke individually with every player during Monday's training session and believes they still back him despite questions over his leadership.
He said: "I think I still have the faith of the players. I've spoken with all of them."
Capello remains adamant he is the right man for the job, insisting the Three Lions fans can trust him.
He said: "I think I did a good job in qualification for the World Cup. I think my record is a good record. I believe they should trust me." (ANI)
