Kolkata, Oct 26 (IANS) Commonwealth Games medal winners from West Bengal were Tuesday presented laptops and watches by East Bengal club at a felicitation programme here.
Table tennis players Subhojit Saha, Mouma Das, Poulami Ghatak and Soumyadip Roy and archer Rahul Banerjee attended the function held at a hotel.
Archer Dola Banerjee, tennis star Leander Paes, hockey player Bharat Chettri, wightlifter Sukhen Dey, athlete Rahamatulla Molla and disabled swimmer Prashant Karmakar did not turn up and were represented by their relatives.
Those who attended were draped in the East Bengal colours of red and yellow. East Bengal officials feted their football team for their triumph in the Federation Cup.
