Pakistan trio to learn their fate in January

Fri, Nov 12 10 08:47 PM

An independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal will rule on charges of alleged breaches of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) anti-corruption code by Pakistan test players Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir in Doha from Jan. 6-11.

The trio have been provisionally suspended after an investigation into newspaper allegations that they arranged for deliberate no-balls to be delivered in the fourth test against England in August.

In a statement on Friday the ICC said the tribunal would comprise Michael Beloff (England), Justice Albie Sachs (South Africa) and Sharad Rao (Kenya).
