Seven players from MP to represent India at Asian Games

Bhopal, Nov 12 (PTI) A total of seven players from various sports academies in Madhya Pradesh will represent India in the Asian Games at Guangzhou, China. According a press release issued by the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, of the seven players selected from the state, five are from the Madhya Pradesh Martial Art Academy and one each from the State Water Sports Academy and the State Women''s Hockey Academy. Amardeep Basediya and Bindu Devi will take part in fencing while Jaswant Singh and Latika Bhandari will represent the country in Taekwondo. Mona Lisa will take part in rowing events and Vikas Sharma would participate in Karate. Rosalind Ralte, who now works with the Indian Railways, will represent the country in hockey.
