Opposition leader Jorge Segovia won the Chilean Football Federation (ANFP) presidential election with a 28-22 vote on Thursday, an ANFP spokesman said.
Incumbent Harold Mayne-Nicholls' defeat meant coach Marcelo Bielsa will resign as he announced on Wednesday.
