Chandigarh, Nov 26 (PTI) Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today congratulated Manjit Kaur and Mandeep Kaur of Punjab for bringing honour to the country and the State by bagging gold in 4x400 relay race in the Asian Games. The Deputy Chief Minister also congratulated Indian kabbadi teams, both men and women, for clinching gold in Asian games. Badal said that specialised training arranged by Punjab government for Manjit Kaur and promotion of Kabaddi by organising World Cup in Punjab were instrumental in motivating the players that helped them to reach the zenith of their respective sport. Badal said that Punjab government would soon organise a function to felicitate commonwealth and Asian games winners and Punjab government was giving highest ever cash award to the player to motivate them.
