Mumbai, Jan 21 (PTI) More than fifty children from two orphanages of Mumbai will be a major part of the ''Gulf Foster - A Child Car Drive'' to be held on January 31. "Points raked up by the participants would include marks given for correct answers to the questions put forth to the children during the drive," said Shrikant Karani of event organisers Sportscraft at a press conference today. Each car''s crew will be made up of a driver, navigator and minimum one child plus one orphan or underprivileged child. The two orphanages taking part in the event held under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India are Our Lady''s Home in Parel and St Anthony''s Home in Byculla. "The event involves no speed or racing. It is only about steadfastly and effectively following the tulip chart and checking in at various pit stop," Karani said. The 55-km drive would commence from Police Ground in Worli and wind up at Acres Club in Chembur. "The objective is to make the driver lose his or her way. Fifty per cent of the entry fees go to the orphanages and the sponsors Gulf Oil too contribute a separate sum towards this social cause," Karani said. There''s a likelihood that the star cast of yet-to-be- released Bollywood movie ''Teen Patti'', barring Amitabh Bachan, would be at the finish line to encourage children, it was announced.
