Ludhiana, Mar 15 (PTI) JCT FC survived some anxious moments before managing to force a goalless draw against favourites and Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan in the 16th round I-League encounter played at Guru Nanak Stadium here today. The visitors dominated the proceedings right from the word go and unleashed a series of attack. Their forwards made repeated forays into home side''s citadel but success continued to elude them on each occasion. Midway through the first half, Mohun Bagan''s Marcos in a solo effort pierced through JCT defence and ran into the striking zone but JCT custodian Karanjit Singh stood his ground to avert any danger. In the 60th minute, MB forced a penalty corner but failed to take advantage of the opportunity as Jose Marcio''s kick went wide off the target, much to the relief of JCT outfit. JCT now have 19 points and will take on Mumbail FC here on March 20. Mohun Bagan have 25 points in their kitty and are placed at 4th.
