Mumbai players practice ahead of IPL tie against Delhi

New Delhi, Mar 15 (PTI) Mumbai Indians sweated it out today at the nets, ahead of their second match in the third Indian Premier League against Delhi Daredevils at Ferozshah Kotla stadium here on Wednesday. MI skipper Sachin Tendulkar and senior players like Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan were seen doing stretching exercises on the ground along with the entire team. As the entire team sat to do some butterfly stretching exercise, Sachin was seen sharing some lighter moments with Zaheer, while Harbhajan also engaged in some pep talk with JP Duminy. Sachin later had an extended session with young gun Saurabh Tiwary as he feeded him with balls to finetune his sweep-shots, which were going wayward. Fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, meanwhile, provided some catching practice to the players like Zaheer and later had a long session with wicket-keeper Aditya Tare. Later Harbhajan, McLaren and Syed Sahabuddin were seen bowling at the nets to their teammates under the watchful eyes of coach Robin Singh. Mumbai Indians have won their first match in the Indian Premier League against Rajasthan Royals by a narrowly four runs, while Delhi Daredevils beat Kings XI Punjab by five wickets in their opening match of the third season.
