Mini Mount XI triumph

Mini Mount XI defeated Umpires & Scorers XI by three wickets in a match organised between the two teams at Pt. RB Tiwari Stadium on Monday.

Batting first, Umpires & Scorers XI scored 219 runs at the cost of eight wickets in the given 25 overs. Yogesh Mishra (87), Vikas Pandey (42) and Anurag Tiwari (36) batted impressively for the team. Yogesh's 87 came off 58 balls which featured ten boundaries and a six. On behalf of Mini Mounty XI, Abhay Singh took three wickets while Liaqat Hasan and Rajendra Singh claimed two wickets each.

In reply, Mini Mount XI was able to attain the set mark in 24.4 overs with three wickets in hand. Abhay Singh (61) and Jamal Qasim (41) batted responsibly for the team. Abhay's 61 resulted off 38 balls and included eight fours and two lofty sixes. Rajendra Sharma collected two wickets.
