Rohtak, Apr 15 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced setting up of a Sports Fund to promote sports in the state. He was addressing the players and sports lovers after inaugurating the Sports Talent Hunt, 29th Junior National Wrestling Championship (Man) and 12th Woman National Wrestling Championship. In another major announcement, Hooda said that Haryana Government would award Rs seven Lakh, Rs five Lakh and Rs three Lakh to the Delhi Commonwealth Games gold, silver and bronze medal winner players from Haryana. He also announced setting up a wrestling and kabaddi academy at Rohtak. He disclosed that the Government is considering setting up a Sports University in the State so that the youngsters and children could be provided the best sports training.
