Indore, Apr 15 (PTI) Third seed Smriti Joon suffered an upset 1-6 3-6 quarterfinals defeat at the hands of unseeded Shreya Pasricha to crash out of the ITF junior girls tournament here today. Fourth seed Bhuvana Kalva, sixth seed Shweta Rana and another unseeded player Rutuja Bhosale recorded victories to move to the semifinals. Bhuvana defeated eighth seed Ikttesh Chahal 6-2 6-2 while Shweta came from behind to beat unseeded Thai Yada Vasupogchai 2-6 6-2 6-3 to make the semifinal grade. Rutuja saw off the challenge of Sawanya Vasupogchai 7-6(3) 7-5 in her quarterfinal.
