WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) Ireland backrower Jamie Heaslip has been suspended for five weeks for kneeing All Blacks captain Richie McCaw during Saturday's one-off rugby test at New Plymouth. Heaslip was sent off in the 15th minute of the match by English referee Wayne Barnes, who saw the Irish player's knee make contact with McCaw's head at a ruck. New Zealand won the match 66-28. Heaslip admitted twice striking McCaw when he appeared at a hearing Sunday in front of International Rugby Board judicial officer Michael Cashman of Australia. He denied making deliberate contact with McCaw's head. Cashman heard submissions from Heaslip and his legal representative before imposing a five-week suspension.
