Wenger criticizes England's failure

London, July 1 (ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has issued a derogatory ruling on England's World Cup campaign, asserting that England were impatient and that they could have easily controlled their game.

The Arsenal manager believes that England could still have got back into their last 16 defeat to Germany - if they had not recklessly chased the game, the Sun reports.

"England were impatient. They came back to 2-1 and they controlled the game. What made me sad was that, with the experience they had, they were caught. It was free-kick for England, goal for Germany," said Wenger.

"They had taken over the game and I think they were killed by their impatience. You do what they did with five minutes to go but not with 25 minutes left," he added. (ANI)
