Kapur ends tied 11th at KLM Open

Hilversum (The Netherlands), Sep 12 (PTI) Indian golfer Shiv Kapur turned in a topsy-turvy one-over 71 in the final round to sign off tied 11th in the KLM Open here today. Kapur, who was overnight tied fourth, ended his campaign with a total of seven-under 273. The Delhi-pro struck three birdies against four bogeys in a roller-coaster round. Making a disappointing start, Kapur stumbled to bogeys on the second and fifth hole but made the turn one-over after picking up a birdie on the eighth hole. The back-nine was more eventful and he had two bogeys sandwiched between the birdies on the 11th and the 17th hole. The other Indian in fray, Jeev Milkha Singh carded a second successive one-over 71 to end with a total of four-under 276. Jeev finished tied 27th on the leaderboard after managing just one birdie against a couple of bogeys in the final round. PTI PM AT
