Gangjee rises to tied 14th after Rd3 of Singapore Open

Singapore, Nov 13 (PTI) Rahil Gangjee was the lone Indian golfer to break par with a two-under 69 and rise 12 rungs to tied 14th after the third and penultimate round of the Barclays Singapore Open here today. Gangjee sent down three birdies against just one bogey today to total seven-under 206 after three rounds. All of Gangjee''s birdies and the bogey came in the front-nine. A couple of strokes behind Gangjee was Jeev Milkha Singh, who carded a three-over 74. The seasoned Chandigarh-pro, who was tied seventh overnight, slipped to be tied 25th after stumbling to six bogeys against three birdies. Further down was Shiv Kapur at tied 46th after returning a 72 in the third round. Kapur''s overall total stood at two-under 211. A shot adrift of Kapur were Gaganjeet Bhullar and Digvijay Singh, both of whom shot 74s. At the top, Australian Adam Scott (69) led the pack with a total of 14-under 199. Korean Kyung-nam Kang (67) and England''s Ian Poulter (68) shared the second spot with totals of 13-under 200.
