Karachi, Nov 13 (PTI) After senior batsman Muhammad Yousuf, the Pakistan cricket team has also lost the services of left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz due to injury in the ongoing Test series against South Africa in the United Arab Emirates. Pakistan manager Intikhab Alam today confirmed that Riaz would be taking no further part in the two-match series. "He complained of a side strain this morning and we went him for a MRI scan. The reports show he has a genuine problem and has been advised one month''s rest," Alam said from Dubai. "Riaz will take no further in the first test and is also ruled out of the second Test," he added. Riaz, who made his Test debut in England this year, bowled 18 overs and took two wickets on the opening day of the first Test on Friday in Dubai and was Pakistan''s most impressive bowler. Riaz''s injury will come as a big blow to the Pakistan team as they have already lost the services of Yousuf who was ruled out of the series without playing any Test with a groin injury. Yousuf and Riaz are expected to return home this week. Alam said the team would seek no replacement as they were two other pacers in the team in Mohammad Sami and Tanvir Ahmed.
