Shillong, Mar 5 (PTI) Drubbed by Pune FC and missing talismanic skipper Bhachung Bhutia, East Bengal will have to be on their guard against an unpredictable Lajong FC in the 15th round encounter of I-League here tomorrow. Bhutia had earned a red card suspension during the last encounter with Pune FC against whom East Bengal went down 2-1. Placed seventh in I League table with 20 points from five wins in 14 matches, East Bengal is desperate for a big win. Bhutia''s absence and injuries have posed a challenge against Lajong in the latter''s home turf. East Bengal coach Phillippe de Ridder said, "The team is not taking Lajong lightly despite having defeated their opponents in the previous I League encounter as well in the Federation Cup." "Lajong is a tough team when they are in form. It is a difficult match for us," he said, adding that he might also have to drop a couple of regular players due to injury. "Bhutia''s striking position is important. We will lack the full striking power," he said, refusing to divulge his replacement or the likely team. Lajong, placed 13th with ten points in the table, too are not in best of times, tasting four defeats and earning two draws in their last six matches after the dream run to reach Federation Cup finals. .
