Chennai, March 5 (IANS) Fourth-seeded Saurav Ghosal of India entered the semi-finals of the PSA Chennai Open squash tournament, defeating Englishman Chris Simpson 11-7, 11-7, 11-13, 11-7 in 64 minutes here Friday.
In the semi-finals, the 29th-ranked Ghosal plays second-seeded Jonathan Kemp of England, while top seeded Malaysian Ong Beng Hee meets third seeded Egyptian Mohd.Ali Reda.
Meanwhile, World No.1 and top seed Nicol David of Malaysia expectedly qualified for the semi-final in the WISPA event and will take on seventh seed Kasey Brown (Australia) while second seed Jenny Duncalf (England) faces Rachael Grinham (Australia).
