New York, April 14 (ANI): Tiger Woods was mocked by his college golf teammates while at Stanford University.

According to his soon to be published E! "True Hollywood Story" specials, Woods, now 34, was given the nickname "Urkel," after the nerdy television character on the '90s sitcom "Family Matters, reports Us Magazine.com.

"He felt like it was insulting to him, he felt like it was borderline racist. It just made him feel like he was back in high school again," the New York Daily News quoted a pal as saying in the clip.

But despite all this, Woods never let his game suffer.

CBS sports caster Jim Hill said: He could walk on the golf course, walk right by you and not even acknowledge you. That's not because he's arrogant, that's just because he has a job to do. (ANI)
