London, Aug 6(ANI): Former Arsenal manager Bob Wilson believes that skipper Cesc Fabregas will remain a Gunner.
"There will be an announcement soon that tells everyone Cesc is staying this season and for maybe longer," The Sun quoted Wilson, as saying.
"If you look at the team photo for the 2010-11 season, he is at the front of the picture. That's the clearest indication you can get that Cesc will stay," he added.
Arsenal's chances of keeping hold of their captain received a boost on Thursday when he returned to training and took his place alongside his teammates for the club's official team photo.
Barcelona is determined to sign Fabregas and had earlier made a 30 million pound bid.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger however rejected the offer, and insisted that his talismanic midfielder was not for sale at any price. (ANI)
