Sri Lanka dismissed for 267, India need 257 to win third Test

Colombo, Aug. 6 -- After frustrating the Indian bowlers for a long time, Sri Lanka were finally dismissed for 267 runs in their second innings, in post tea session on the fourth day of the third and final cricket Test against India in Colombo. India now now needs 257 runs to win the third Test. Ajantha Mendis was the last man to be bowled on the individual score of 78. Thilan Samaraweera was dismissed for 83, caught by MS Dhoni on the bowling of Abhimanyu Mithun, in post tea session on the fourth day of the third and final cricket Test against India in Colombo. Sri Lanka were 266 for nine in their second innings at tea on the fourth day of the third and final cricket Test against India in Colombo. Though Sri Lanka lost six wickets in the pre-lunch session Ajantha Mendis (45) and Thilan Samaraweera (78) played with patience to frustrate Indian hope of winning the match and levelling the series 1-1. India are one down in the series due to defeat in the first match of the series.
