Patna, Oct 1 (PTI) Patna High Court today stayed till further order the Annual General Meeting of the Indian Hockey Federation which was scheduled to take place in New Delhi on October 3. Justice S N Husain passed the order on a petition filed by Bihar Hockey Association General secretary S Ezaz Husain. Alleging that he was not invited to attend the AGM despite being a BHA representative, the petitioner has sought a stay on the proposed AGM in New Delhi on Sunday to elect its new office bearers. The court has ordered issuance of notices to Federation President K P S gill, Acting General Secretary Charanjit Singh Raheja and another office bearer Danish Hayat Khan to explain their position to the objections raised by his client within a week.
