Players will forgive Tiger, but WAGS may not!

London, Apr.7 (ANI): Ryder Cup star Colin Montgomerie fears that winning over the wives and girlfriends of fellow golfers will be far more difficult for numero uno Tiger Woods, as they are also friends of his wife Elin and will take a dim view of his sordid affairs.

The Sun quoted European captain Monty, as saying: "Tiger's problem, certainly as far as the team room is concerned, will be the attitude of the other wives and girlfriends. They are friends of Elin and they will sympathise with her over what has gone on."

Monty's words were echoed by Woods' ex-coach, Butch Harmon, who said the WAGS will never forgive him.

Harmon, who guided Woods for 11 years before being dumped in 2004, said: "I think he will have more of a problem with the players' wives. They are not going to give him any welcome after what he's done. It's more likely to be the cold shoulder and stern looks." (ANI)
