London, April 7 (ANI): With the ongoing sex scandal surrounding him, professional golfer Tiger Woods' every move has come under scrutiny, right up to him taking his cell phone out during a practice round at the Masters golf tournament.

Woods, 34, was spotted using his cell phone on the 10th green at Augusta on April 6 during a practice round with Mark O'Meara, a friend and former Masters champion. He was helping me with my putting," the BBC quoted O'Meara as insisting.

"I had a loop in my putting stroke. He wanted to film my putting stroke," he stated.

But being caught with one may have also violated club policy at Augusta National, which bans cell phones on the course.

"We ask players not to use their cell phones," club spokesman Steve Ethun said.

"We would make exceptions if players were using any kind of recording device during a practice round," he added. (ANI)
