BCCI dismayed over Sehwag century controversy

Chennai /New Delhi, August, (ANI): Miffed over the no-ball controversy that denied Virender Sehwag his 13th One-Day International century during August 16 match between India and hosts Sri Lanka played in Dambulla, Kris Srikkanth, chairman of the selection committee on Wednesday said that the Sri Lankan players flouted the spirit of the game. The BCCI, however, said it has little say in the matter. It may be recalled that needing just one run for a win, Sehwag hit Sri Lankan spinner Suraj Randiv for a six with the final delivery of the match but was denied a century after the umpire signalled a no-ball.
