England on back foot following Oval loss ahead of decider: Amin

London, Aug.25 (ANI): Pakistan's young middle order batsman Umar Amin believes that the win against England in the third Test at The Oval has helped boost the visitors' confidence which could see them levelling the Test series.

Hitting back at England pacer Steven Finn's taunt that 'one win does not mean they (Pakistan) were any closer to us', Amin said following the loss it is the hosts who are under pressure.

"England were 2-0 up going to the Oval - but suddenly after the way they were beaten there, they must be on the back foot. You're always in the game against them - even if they get a partnership going, you never give up," The Dawn quoted Amin, as saying.

Amin, who was dropped from the third Test to make way for experienced Mohammed Yosuf, said England were a side which can collapse from a strong position at any stage of the game.

"You're never out of it - because they can collapse at any time," he said, adding, "We just want a repeat of the Oval. We proved there we are a better side." (ANI)
