Panaji, Nov 6 (PTI) Four days after the en-mass resignation drama, Goa Cricket Association (GCA) retained most of its executive committee members while ousting its vice president Chetan Desai from the committee. In a circular issued today, GCA amended its executive committee giving posts back to seven out of eight members, who had resigned in the wake of recent duplicate ticket scam. GCA''s executive committee led by Dayanand Narvekar was embroiled after the controversy over duplicate tickets for the rain washed one day international between India and Australia on October 24 surfaced. Narvekar had claimed it as "negligence by some of its committee members." On November 2, all the eight office bearers of the executive committee had resigned reposing their faith in Narvekar. The committee, which was reconstituted today, dropped Chetan Desai and replaced him with Zamir Corot. Vinod Fadke, who was the treasurer, was shifted to vice president''s post while Amaresh Naik was promoted from joint secretary''s post to treasurer.
