Britain's worst football team has no points after 21 games

London, jan.28 (ANI): Britain's worst football team has no points from 21 games.Desperate Durham City AFC have conceded 108 goals and scored just 13 playing in the Unibond Premier, just six leagues below the Premier League.

No side has ever made such a bad start to a Unibond season and no other team in Britain's professional or semi-pro divisions have failed to register a point this term, reports The Sun.

Durham's dreadful run kicked off after their sponsors backed out just before the campaign got underway.

They were forced to offload the entire squad who had won successive promotions - and selected a team from 16 and 17-year-olds at a local sixth-form college.

Chairman Ian Walker said: "We couldn't pay any of our players' wages, so we are playing with college kids. They're not receiving a penny. We felt the most important thing was to keep the club going - it's been around for 90 years." (ANI)
